Come one, come all!
To a Halloween Carnival!
This fun theme was a big hit with both kids and adults. The day was beautiful, so it was perfect for a carnival spin to the Halloween festivities.
Black, red and orange were my main colors for the tablescape. Light carnival-type snacks were served — from buttery popcorn to mini pigs-in-a-blanket. Store-bought cupcakes were further embellished with ghost toppers and showcased on a ferris wheel cupcake stand. Healthy snacks were also provided, such as mandarins styled as cute mini pumpkins (just topped with a small piece of celery), and veggie sticks were served in striped red and white cones. Guests got to take home yummy parting gifts, like mini apple pies and homemade caramel apples, as well as goody boxes filled with Halloween trinkets and sweets. Boo-licious beverages were served on a bright red cart that tied in perfectly.
The kids had a blast with all the fun games — bowling, mini golf, and ring toss. There was even a Halloween-inspired photo booth where ready-made props were fashioned along side masks that the kids got to color themselves. And no fall carnival is complete without a pumpkin patch — kids picked their own mini pumpkins and painted them for another great take-home gift.
All-in-all a fun time for kids of all ages!
Enjoy the pics and may they inspire you to host your own Halloween Carnival 🙂
