My little guy LOVES Minecraft, so this year his birthday theme was all about Ender Dragon and Creepers!
He had a blast having his party at a tumbling party place complete with bounce houses and zip line. While he and his friends jumped, tumbled and played to their hearts’ content, mommy was busy setting up the party room with all things Minecraft.
For the dessert table, I placed homemade cupcakes that were topped with Perler bead pickax toppers and wrapped in pixel green and black paper on a 3-tier stand. The mini cake that sat on the top tier of the stand was also homemade, and topped with an Ender Dragon and Steve toy set. On either side of the stand, I arranged potato chip cans that were covered with Creeper labels, also flanked by Creeper head boxes that I purchased online. The banner was mommy-made as well, and green Mylar balloons were given Creeper faces. The favor boxes were simple black gable boxes that were decorated with Ender Dragon eyes and filled with all types of trinkets and treats, such as Perler bead-made swords and Pop Rocks candy. The cookies were made by Little Birdie Parties, and the talented Becky from LBP out-did herself again! Not only did she make the Creeper and Endermen cookies, but also a GIGANTIC Ender Dragon! AMAZING!!
For the dining table, square green and black plates were used and topped with Creeper masks, while simple black paper cups were wrapped with Minecraft labels that read “Potion of Healing”. The centerpieces were just more Creeper/Endermen balloon bunches lined up in the center of the tables with a light green table cloth sitting underneath a metallic paper runner to complete the look.
My little guy was thrilled!
Enjoy the pics… and may they inspire you to be Mine-crafty too!
